"Local Measure is a customer experience platform for the real world. Our tools help hotels, stadiums and theme parks have more meaningful conversations with their customers, work better in their teams, and ultimately provide exceptional experiences for their guests."
This was how we talked about ourselves in January 2020. Obviously the 'real world' has changed a bit since then and we've all had to change with it. Over the last 9 months we've taken our knowledge and experience for what it takes to create great customer interactions, and built them into new tools attempting to solve one of the biggest customer experience problems — the contact center.
As a member of our small design team you will have a key role in shaping the future of this new Local Measure chapter.
Designing for Change - We've headed into a new product space servicing new industries. Everyday, we learn something new about what problems we need to solve and how we can solve them. How do you design and build features with this constant change in mind?
Designing for Enterprise - Large organisations in industries like banking and telecommunications have greater expectations for the level of control and flexibility needed to manage large amounts of data and users. How do we meet the expectations of the enterprise while maintaining the simplicity and usability of a consumer product?
Dealing with Legacy - It's rare that we start anything completely from scratch. How can we solve new problems with existing patterns and understand when and how to evolve the system within the constraints of a long-running product?
As a designer here you will have impact across all stages of product development. You will work with product managers to understand our customers problems and how to solve them and work closely with engineers to help bring the solutions to life.
We regularly iterate and experiment with ways of working and tools that help get the message across quickly and clearly. Our core tool-set at the moment includes Sketch, Abstract and Invision.
We are not big on requirements lists, but here’s a few things that will help you fit the part.
We are looking for all-rounders with bonus points for skills or interest in areas like design systems, front-end code, animation or illustration.
