Local Measure today announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which includes mutual commitments for both companies to help customers use cloud technology to deliver improved contact center experiences for customers around the world. Building on a strong collaboration between Local Measure and AWS, the SCA will see both parties increase investment in go-to-market activities across several regions including North America, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Local Measure will expand its presence in these countries, and accelerate development of Engage, its award-winning contact centre platform.
Local Measure’s Engage platform is an out-of-the-box cloud contact center solution that further extends the power of Amazon Connect by unifying customer communications, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning into a single interface for agents. This single interface gives agents a complete view of the customer, providing them with the context to provide exceptional customer service. The Engage platform also leverages Amazon Connect to ensure customer inquiries are automatically routed to the agent best equipped to respond. In addition, all customer data is stored securely within the AWS Cloud environment of Local Measure’s clients, which include major brands across retail, media, finance and telco including Are Media and Coco Republic.
Jonathan Barouch, CEO & Founder at Local Measure, said “The SCA will further empower customers to accelerate their adoption of intelligent, scalable cloud contact center technologies, and omnichannel customer experience solutions.”
“We are thrilled to build on our strong foundation with AWS, collaborate more closely to help expand our business internationally and continue to build innovative solutions. Local Measure had a very successful 2021, growing around 500%, driven by the possibilities our customers saw to re-invent their contact center experiences with our Engage platform,” he said. “Because Engage reduces risk and complexity, it dramatically accelerates the time it takes for businesses to get up and running with a cloud contact center and to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Now it takes just minutes, not months, to service customer demands while also creating better customer experiences. The SCA will allow us to move even faster with AWS to help customers around the world leverage our innovative contact center solutions and take advantage of the scalability and on-demand pricing model of AWS Cloud.”
Through the SCA, Local Measure will establish a global Amazon Connect centre of excellence. Local Measure will train more than 30 employees on Amazon Connect, help them gain AWS Certifications, and set up Amazon Connect teams in countries where it operates. Local Measure and AWS will also collaborate on several sales and marketing initiatives to drive awareness for Engage, including workshops, webinars and customer technical support. Local Measure is an AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV), which allows them to leverage AWS’s Partner programs such as AWS Global Solutions Delivery Partner, to help customers migrate their contact centers to the cloud and deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences.
Ruba Borno, Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Alliances at AWS, said: “Amazon Connect is one of the fastest growing services in the history of AWS, and working with Local Measure helps AWS further accelerate the pace of global cloud adoption in the contact center industry alongside a trusted global partner. We have watched Local Measure grow and witnessed firsthand their culture of working backwards from our customer’s needs, which aligns strongly to our leadership principles at AWS. We are looking forward to expanding our relationship and helping customers grow and transform their businesses.”
